 L180/L190 Series Intermediate and Large Size Buna-N and Teflon® Float Switches   Printer Friendly Version
The intermediate size L180 and large size L190 feature a Buna-N or Teflon float that provides optimum displacement and excellent stability in oils and water. Both Buna-N models are rated to system pressures of 180 psig. The L180 can be supplied with a 300 psig Teflon float and the larger Buna version L190 is the best choice for high viscosity fluids.

A hermetically sealed reed switch is located in the switch stem at the desired measurement level. It is actuated by a magnet embedded in the float as it rises and falls with the liquid level.
