 F002A Series Compact Adjustable Flow Switch   Printer Friendly Version
The F002A is a precision machined, piston type flow switch that provides unsurpassed durability and reliability. Its all brass or 316 stainless steel body is rated to 1000 psig with its internal piston the only moving part. Supplied with ¼" NPT inlet and outlet ports and a ½" NPTF electrical conduit connection, the F002A is adjustable from .247 to 1.360 GPM and .453 to 1.500 GPM. It can also be supplied with special fluid calibrations in viscosities up to 500 SSU.

A spring loaded magnetic piston inside the pressure body bore is displaced by flow through the ports. The displacement of the piston actuates a hermetically sealed reed switch in a separate chamber of the pressure body. The spring return de-actuates the switch when the flow decreases.The adjustment in set point is achieved by rotating a vane in the bypass port thus creating a pressure differential.
